Hey, I don't know what to say.

I've come here for five things.

Chemistry test is postponed to Week 10 Friday.

That means, the day after Xinling's birthday.

Wednesday. During Science Class.

Secondly. Indian dance. Yay. Proud of you girls, not because we came in second. But because I could see most of you participating. In fact, all of you.

Okay, this is going to be more solemn.

I just want to express my disappointment in some of you.

There have been ... just stuff.

I'm just here to reemphasize that MANY teachers are very angry at our class.

So what are the subjects we take?

Mathematics

Chinese

English

Science

History

Geography

English Literature

Physical Education

Music

Art

Chinese Literature

Malay.

And how many teachers are angry.

Quite a few, I can see and say. Some of them are not angry, I think they are disappointed. Really. You want to see examples? I'll give you them. In PQC format also can.

Okay. Mathematics. - Mr Lin.

Don't you think that we have become a little more slacked? I think what hit me most was when the whole class did not do their worksheet question. I admit, I completed less than half of it, because I was stuck. But I'm sure many of you, mathematics genius even, knows how to do it. Yet, there was no one who did it. Or maybe, you all didn't raise your hand. That shows? Unattentive to the question or not participating. Perhaps they were one or two hands, but I didn't catch. (hey, I don't have perfect eyesight what!) Then, what stuck me most was when Mr Lin said "Please do Qn 3 and 4 as homework" *pause "Okay, forget it, you all will not do anyways". Then he did reemphasize to us that he gives us very little homework already, even giving us time to do in class. Also, his deadlines are reasonable, I can say?

Next, Chinese.

Time after time, Hu lao shi has expressed her disapointment in us being not very responsive. I know some complained that she isn't very funny anymore during class. But it is not expected of her to be funny. Alright, shouldn't say much because I have no PCQ (:

Geography.

How many did not bring Geography textbook. Or Geography workbook.

"Mindmaps, girls!" is all ms lee would say. But previously, she did mention that our class ALWAYS has girls who never bring. Can we try to score full attendance for textbooks and workbooks? Please.

English Literature.

"Dead silence". "Kill me now". This are perhaps just some really funny things Ms Praba says. Don't you think there's a meaning behind all these words? Today was okay, because we had some "debate?" Yeah, but other days require more response! Jia you 2 L.

Two of the events happen today, and this strucked me to write this thing.

Science.

Ms Lee, is officially quite angry. In the past, she use her grading style as just marking and counting of marks.. The normal. No marks were deducted for late work. But some took advantage and handed in 4, 5 days late. I even have collected worksheets after a week. And the last one was only collected about 18 days later than the given deadline. Even though she said she would not mark the worksheets after like 8 days. She still marked it. Why? Because she wants to see your mistakes. She did not think it would be necessary to say what is graded and what is not because you should put in effort in your worksheets. Even I didn't know until yesterday. From the worksheets, she would pick out a few to be graded. I think the ones that have marks lah! Anyways, from now onwards, she will mark "late" for late work. Following the normal scheme.

Actually, she is open to many things. Explain to her that you cannot complete your worksheet because of this reason if you are unable to complete it, that is.
For example, some girls who attended the alumae dinner asked her if they could hand in one day late, because of the dinner, she agreed.

She said before, she doesn't mind if you can't make it, once. Or have forgotten to bring, once. At most, twice?

Yeah.

Also, if you have lost your worksheet. Please just tell Ms Lee, or if you are afraid she would eat you, you can always ask me. Or gen also can. Don't the last minute, on the deadline, come and tell us, because then, you would have to rush your work and hand in the next day right? Wouldn't it be better to ask early to get more time and even hand in early!

And as reemphasized a lot of times. Don't know how to do, ask around and ask Ms Lee. It's OKAY!

Okay, so long. LOL
Next, English!

Don't know if anyone was affected by the tone Mrs Gurong used when she said "Girls, I really wouldn't force you to hand in your summary writing, because it's an ungraded assignment, but it would help you in your future comprehension test". Okay, it's not a lot, but then it just shows she is helping us to improve. And that she was disappointed that we whined for bargaining of deadlines. (Even though, I thought students always whine and the teacher goes "tml laaaaaah" and then we'll go "huh, okay looooooooorh")
I hope that many of you are willing to help yourselves and did the summary.

As far as I can see, there are lesser handphones used. But eating after school hours in class have been increased. Some of you in ties. Some think this is "being flexible", but I think, best to avoid being so flexible.

And now there's a "urgent, go toilet" trend right?

Go to the toilet for the right reasons! (Don't need to elaborate hor?!)

I ain't the model student or anything. I get distracted during lesssons. I talk during lessons. But I'm trying to curb it.

So will you curb your itchy fingers, your bad habits too?

And work together as a class, towards our ultimate finishing line for 2008, end of year exams.

Two loyaltyyy!
Okay so I'm here again, to talk about INDIAN DANCE.
Yes we have dance prac every recess, and we really hope you do cooperate.

Firstly, I shall say what I wanted to say before some of you started to ya... I want to say that I'm very proud of you guys, for being rather cooperative. Always bothering to come down and stay back despite your busy schedule. Some classes don't even bother to learn at all. So I must say you guys rock ((:
Next, the reason we told you the ''good'' news today was because we trusted YOU to still work hard. One week, to think of it its only a few days away. But in the end more of you started to slack and i must say it was rather dissapointing.
Most of you are from 1 truth and 1 faith, you guys have won level competitions before. I'm sure you know the juilation you felt when they announced the winner.
others who weren't, I'm also sure you would love to know that you have worked hard and done well.
Personally I was rather impressed by truth when they got second during the sing to the dawn competition. What made me feel impressed was that they did not complain nor grudge about being second and still felt good about it.
I think that's the spirit we must have.
Even if we do not win, we must know in our hearts that we have won as a class in the sense that we have worked hard and we have done our best.
Now, would you like to lose and know it is beccause you didn't bother to prepare or just that you have done well, but some did better?

Lastly, I know some of you might think this is not important. But however, i think other than academically we should work hard in every thing we do, instead of thinking its just some extra unesccesary thing.
If, IF, you really still do not wish to work for it, i hope that you will work hard for the sake of those who put in a lot of effort like joanna, xin ling, mel etc.

Lets jia you together and do this as one! :D

alright, this is my first time posting on the class blog :D anyway, we had OPEN HOUSE just now, and it was very FUN! although we didn't really have the whole school flooded with visitors, it was still very FUN!

as in, to me, it would really be MORE fun if more people came.. wells, i shall keep it short by ending here.(gonna do work and study too!!)
